There are two international airports near Surakarta
1. Adi Sumarmo Airport in Surakarta (5 km from Venue)
2. Adi Sucipto Airport in Yogyakarta (60 km from Venue)

Visa

Free Tourist Visa

Free tourist short stay visas for maximum 30 days are awarded to nationals or passport holders of
1. Brunei Darusaalam
2. Malaysia
3. Singapore
4. Thailand
5. Philippines
6. Vietnam
7. Hong Kong SAR
8. Macau SAR
9. Chile
10. Morocco
11. Equador
12. Peru
The visa can be extended for another 30 days but cannot be transferred to another type of visa. All citizens from above mentioned countries have to enter Indonesia through a number of air ports and sea ports.

Visa On Arrival (VoA)

Visa on Arrival can be obtained directly when you are landed at the airports or seaports in Indonesia. Visa on Arrival is given to person who has come with holiday/leisure, business or social visit purposes in Indonesia. The maximum length of stay is 30 days and that can be extended for another 30 days.

The official entry requirements for the issuance of a 30 days visa-on arrival

  • Passport must be from one of the countries listed below
  • Passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months from the date of entry into Indonesia.
  • Payment of USD 25 must be paid at the gateway, depending on the length of visa required.
  • Onward or return tickets are compulsory.
  • Visitors must enter and exit through one of the 15 airports or 21 seaports officially approved as an international gateway by the Indonesian Immigration department.
  • Citizens from 63 countries enjoy Visa on Arrival for tourist visits not exceeding 30 days.
